Whether you need to learn or develop business skills, how to network and collaborate, manage relationships with customers and suppliers, consider environmental and cultural influences, this FREE ‘Peer Training Guide for Young Entrepreneurs’ will support your business journey from where you are now, to where you need to be.

This guide is suitable for use by new micro start-ups in Nigeria, across Sub-Saharan Africa, in similar regions in the Global South and other parts of the world.

Suggested use of guide

A minimum training period of six months is recommended. The training activities can be organised online or at a physical location.

Activity Timeline
Convene a group of new entrepreneurial peers
Schedule two dates e.g. first and third week of each month
Individual study of agreed topic – watch course video and read content to learn and understand the entrepreneurial concepts and practices First week of each month
Complete practical tasks and implement ideas to own business
Meet with peer group for discussion of topic, support, feedback, and accountability Third week of the month
